DIY Anti-Aging Gel with Aloe, Rice & Rose Water

If you love natural skin care, this simple DIY anti-aging gel combines traditional ingredients known for hydration, glow, and skin elasticity.

While no homemade product replaces professional treatments, this gel can support smoother-looking, hydrated skin when used consistently.

🌿 Ingredients

• 2 tbsp white rice

• 1 tbsp flaxseeds

• 10–12 cloves

• 2 tbsp aloe vera gel

• 1 vitamin E capsule

• 2 tsp rose water

• 1 tsp glycerin

Why These Ingredients Work

🍚 Rice

Rice water has been used in traditional beauty rituals to brighten and soften skin.

🌱 Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds create a natural gel rich in omega fatty acids that help support skin hydration.

🌸 Cloves

Cloves contain antioxidants that help protect skin from environmental stress.

🌿 Aloe Vera

Aloe is known for soothing, hydrating, and calming the skin.

🌹 Rose Water

Rose water tones and refreshes, helping skin feel balanced.

💧 Glycerin

Glycerin attracts moisture and helps maintain skin softness.

How to Prepare

  1. Boil rice, flaxseeds, and cloves in 1½ cups water.

  2. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  3. Strain and cool.

  4. Add aloe vera, vitamin E, rose water, and glycerin.

  5. Mix well and store in refrigerator up to 7 days.

Apply at night to clean skin.

Professional Perspective

Natural skincare can complement professional facials, but it should not replace proper exfoliation, customized treatments, or medical-grade care when needed.

If you’re looking for glowing, healthy skin in Mequon or Thiensville, combining at-home rituals with professional facials creates the best long-term results.

At Nousha’s Hair Studio, I offer customized facials designed to restore hydration, improve texture, and support healthy aging.

Serving Mequon, Thiensville, Cedarburg, and Ozaukee County.
